De Koffie Van Morgen is a free impro collective based in Ghent/Brussels with a focus on the combination acoustic/electronic instruments. The band was founded by drummer Simon Plancke. The idea of the band started with conversations about the transcendental character of electronic music in coffee bars. After that Simon just called the people he liked personally regardless of which instruments they played.
